These are step-cut diamonds meaning that they have many large open facets, which act like mirrors and throw dramatic prisms of light. However, these large open facets do highlight the clarity of the diamond so it's important to choose a good quality stone.

1791 Diamonds adhere to strict policies with regard to diamond quality meaning that they only use the very top quality grades for diamond cut and colour and in terms of diamond clarity they always use SI or better to ensure that no blemishes can easily be seen without a magnifying glass or jeweller's loupe.
