I went to the post office to grab the parcel this morning, and recieved in my hands a medium sized box.... hmmm... strange... its.... bigger than i thought!!

I carefully unhitched the bubble wrap and held quite a unique presentation box... upon opening that box I found another! and then finally the ring. I sat in my beat up rusting car in the morning sun outside the postoffice and was literally blinded by the flashes of colour reflecting off the diamond.

I was initially interested in your company as my choice for an engagment ring because your site steers away from the now prevalent tacky and fanciful image of offering "amazing deals on diamonds and gold". Not only was your site easy to use, but during the entire process I have been guided through in a courtious and professional manner at every stage, from diamond selection to the delivery.

Yourself, your company and the business you do is a credit to the jewellery industry.

I also had a hidden desire that I wasnt going to just recieve a ring in a ring box... It was a treat to find that you (mindread?!) go that extra mile to impress your clients. But it should be said this has been your outward goal the entire way.

Commission an Engagement Ring

I had made enquiries with over a dozen different jewellers & after one phone call with your designer Alice, I knew 1791 was the company I would have design the ring. Your staff came across as legitimately interested in my personal endeavour to create the perfect ring & at no time did I ever feel like my input wasn't valued or incorporated. Every detail was important to me, from the ring's design to the diamonds, so when I was advised & listened to in equal measure I knew I'd made the right choice. Best of all were the results...wow! La Lucia is a bold, modern design which makes effective use of the strong lines of the princess cut diamond in a bar setting. This is a solitaire diamond engagement ring yet it does not try to replicate the demure and delicate look of more traditional solitaires.

La Lucia design is well balanced and the bar setting, while certainly a prominent feature of the ring's design, complements the fabulous diamond without detracting from its beauty.

The edginess of this design then flows through to the ring's band.

The intention with this design seems to be for the three elements: the diamond, the setting and the metal band, to work together, enhancing one another rather than emphasising any one design aspect. That this design should work so effectively is testament to the high quality of the materials used as well as the quality of workmanship.
