The timing was pretty incredible too, as I had planned to go ahead and propose on friday night, without a ring (controversially!) but then to have the ring finished early and literally hours in before the deed was great! The various different aspects of diamond design are important when considering what style of diamond engagement ring will best suit your beloved (familiarise yourself with the 4Cs of diamonds) and diamond shape is a decidedly personal consideration.
