My experience with 1791 was perfect. I found the whole website easy to use and love the fact you can pick and choose what ring you like and what diamond as well. I was a little unsure with what I was buying without seeing it first hand although when I spoke to a 1791 representative her recommendation was clear and very informative. Delivery of the ring was excellent and the whole process was very simple. When the ring arrived it was better than I imagined.

I just wanted to give a big thank you for all the work on the ring - it looked even better than I thought it would and my now fiancee loved it!!! The timing was pretty incredible too, as I had planned to go ahead and propose on friday night, without a ring (controversially!) but then to have the ring finished early and literally hours in before the deed was great! Emerald cut diamonds are very distinctive with their long, elegant lines. These are step-cut diamonds meaning that they have many large open facets, which act like mirrors and throw dramatic prisms of light. However, these large open facets do highlight the clarity of the diamond so it's important to choose a good quality stone.

1791 Diamonds adhere to strict policies with regard to diamond quality meaning that they only use the very top quality grades for diamond cut and colour and in terms of diamond clarity they always use SI or better to ensure that no blemishes can easily be seen without a magnifying glass or jeweller's loupe.
