I was drawn to the Deep Blue ring because it was notably different to anything I had seen pounding the pavement around Auckland. I wanted to make sure that my partner had a ring that she wouldn't see for sale in a every shopfront window of every mall she went to. It is truly one of a kind, she is always getting compliments about how unique and beautiful it is. The ring and setting obviously had a lot of design input, being both elegant and robust. My new fiancee is very active and I had to ensure that the ring would fit her lifestyle and she wouldn't feel nervous wearing it. The meticulous craftsmanship was evident when I opened the box, it will certainly stand the tests of time.

Like many people, I would normally be concerned about making a massive financial commitment online without any face-time. I did a lot of research and it became very apparent that 1791 value their brand and commitments. You are always dealing directly with 1791, not a reseller and they monitor the whole transaction with excellent communication and courtesy. My fiancee is ecstatic, as am I. Buying from 1791Diamonds online was very easy and straight-forward. It made organising an engagement ring at the last minute (as my original jeweler fell through) while doing a fly in fly out a possibility. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. They did everything possible to get me my engagement ring on time. Once I had received the ring it was a happy response. 1791 were only too happy to receive the ring back through the post for a re-size. This was a process that was suprisingly quick and it was sent straight back to me. All in all, 1791 were a delight to deal with and went out of their way to make an already very exciting time just that little bit easier.

I just wanted to give a big thank you for all the work on the ring - it looked even better than I thought it would and my now fiancee loved it!!! The timing was pretty incredible too, as I had planned to go ahead and propose on friday night, without a ring (controversially!) but then to have the ring finished early and literally hours in before the deed was great!
