At 1791 Diamonds we are passionate about designing beautiful diamond engagement rings. Our designers, master jewellers, diamond setters, and even the gold foundry we use, are all in New Zealand.

Erika Gunn, looks after customer service. Alice Herald is the head designer and is also responsible for product quality. The team is headed by Richard Prout BSc, who has over 20 years experience running companies. Our technical team who keep the web and back-office systems going is led by Dan Khan MEng MDINZ.

Qualifications and Expertise
Our Product Manager has a degree in jewellery design from one of the world's most famous art colleges: St Martins in London. She has passed the Gemmological Society of Australia’s Diamond Graders course.
1791 Diamonds Ltd is a member of the Jewellers & Watchmakers Association of New Zealand.
