The Modena Collection

The Modena Collection of Diamod Engagement Rings aims at a younger audience or those with a very active outdoor lifestyle. The rings typically have lower set contemporary designs. Again only New Zealand 18kt White Gold, 18kt Yellow Gold or Platinum are used and only diamonds that adhere to our strict quality standards, which ensures they are typically more brilliant and pure.

Diamonds

Diamonds come in various shapes and sizes, and vary significantly in quality. The industry uses the measures of carat size, cut, clarity and colour to grade how special a stone is. You can learn more about diamonds through our Guide to Buying Diamond Engagement Rings. The weight of diamonds is measured in carats. The approximate size of diamonds in relation to their carat weight is shown below (using the Round Brilliant diamond as an example).

All 1791 diamonds have a diamond cut grade of Excellent or Very Good. The diagram below shows why a perfectly cut diamond sparkles so enchantingly. This is because most of the light entering the diamond is reflected back through the table, compared to cheaper diamonds where the light leaks our of the side facets.
